No planning register is even. Counting rows does not tell you whether you can open the grant you are appointed on. This page is how we answer that.
01 — What we read
Official records, not a rewritten copy.
Everything here comes from the planning registers themselves. Some parts of the country publish far more than others, which is what the rest of this page is about.
The conditions
Numbered wording when the extract includes it. When it does not, the decision notice is the source — you paste once, then confirm the rows.
What follows it
A discharge of this permission lands on the case. You map the condition numbers. We do not guess them silently.
The council’s own record stays the authoritative one. We copy what it publishes; we do not rewrite it.
02 — What we do not count
We do not tell you how many rows we hold.
Record counts are our question, not yours. A London borough holding a hundred thousand applications does not make your Brighton grant any easier to run.
Not the pile
How many applications sit in the feed does not decide whether you can run the file you are appointed on.
What you need
The permission, the conditions, and the clocks — not the size of the store behind search.
The list
Every English local planning authority we actually search is below. If a council is not on it, we cannot open its grants.
We are not selling a council as coverage unless it appears on that list.
03 — One format
Hundreds of councils. The same case file.
Lawlatch reads hundreds of English authorities. Their portals, extracts and detail are not the same. What we can fill lands on your case in one shape regardless — then you confirm. That is what the subscription is for.
Different portals
Some give a documents tab we can link. Some give only the parent record. You still open the case the same way.
Different detail
Where numbered conditions are in the extract, they land as rows for you to confirm. Where they are not, you paste from the notice.
Same clocks
A council that publishes as it goes behaves differently from one that batches. Child discharges appear when the register does. The ledger does not change shape.
You are not paying us to relearn each council’s site. You are paying for one file, in one format, for the grant you are appointed on.
04 — The list
Authority by authority.
270 English local planning authorities we can read — districts, unitaries, metropolitan boroughs and London boroughs. A council we cannot read is not on this list. Figures follow ingest. We still do not sell the pile.
